The invasion of fake chatroulette Ad Sites
Over the last 6 months there has been a huge increase in fake roulette ad sites popping up all over the place. The problem is they are not even chat sites, it’s just a landing page filled with ad’s for people to click. These kind of sites are a problem for people seeking real alternatives to chatroulette.
We have taken the time and researched 10 plus sites ourselves to weed out some of the fakes. We will only be going into a few of them, and providing some screen shots below. We can all agree that making some money online for providing a nice clean site, with quality content is ok. But to create these pages (we can’t even call them websites) because they are just no effort splash put together for only one reason. Profit. They could care less about the user’s and site design.
The first site we will examine is shufflecam.de which contains an extensive list of paid ad’s with a photo of some girl, that looks a bit more like a guy with no hair, and a sweaty body after working a 10 hour construction shift. The list has a bunch of places that either require money or registration. That is the complete opposite of the roulette chat concept.
So above I have provided a screen shot of shuffle cam with the woman, and the super long list of junk. Nothing even worth taking a look at for the time being. Unless this site cleans up it’s act and offers something people want, they will fade like the summer of 2011. But this is only one of the few we will look at today. We plan on updating the list as we discover more in the coming month’s.
This next one we are going to examine is either trying to be funny, or lost it’s mind completely. They claim to be the best shuffle chat? That’s what it says on their logo or banner located on the top part of their site. First thing we notice is that missing roulette module. Meaning there is nowhere to webcam chat it’s gone, or they just forgot to add that part. Take a look below at this waste of web space.
The last one we decided to look at is Italychat.de aimed for Italian chatters. But the sad thing is when they arrive at Italy chat they won’t find anything but an extensive list of boring ad’s. Another page with no interest in providing a real service for people to have fun.
